View Bowl Smoke, Large

Hand blown in the Czech Republic. The View Bowl is created by combining two separate shapes while hot on the glass blower’s pipe. The form of the bowl is pressed against a cylindrical base, the rounded surface of the bowl pushing into the space within the cylinder. The tops and bottoms are then cut and polished.

The beauty of hand blown glass is the inconsistency of size and shape, no two alike.
