Champagne Saber, Engraved, Black
It is said that the Hussars, the French light cavalry in the time of Napoleon, invented a quick way of opening Champagne bottles, called “Sabrage”: A clean cut with a sabre below the neck of the bottle shears off the cork and top. Thanks to the six atmospheres of pressure inside the bottle, no fragments of glass get into the wine. A suitable accessory for a dramatic gesture at a very special event or wedding.
